Professor David Glasgow was invited to investigate and describe the psychological impact on survivors of the effective replacement of the ISB, and to offer advice with respect to their future needs.

Future of church safeguarding

Professor Alexis Jay and John O'Brien were asked, by the Church of England, to:


  • To provide options and recommendations for forming an independent safeguarding scrutiny body for the Church of England
  • To make any recommendations for how further independence of safeguarding might be achieved
  • To make any other recommendations that are necessary or appropriate.
